Have you ever stared at a puzzle, realizing you only have seconds to solve it? That is exactly the rush I felt when I first played Cube Connect. At its core, Cube Connect is a fast-paced logic and spatial puzzle game. Your main goal is very simple. You must connect scattered puzzle pieces to form a continuous track. This path leads a small ball directly to a red finish flag.
If you already enjoy clever puzzle games like Jelly Merge, you will absolutely love the intense countdown in this one. The game forces you to think ahead. You cannot just guess. You need a solid strategy to win.
Getting started is easy, but surviving takes actual skill. The red flag marks your finish line. When the ball touches that flag, you win the level!
However, you cannot pick up the ball. Instead, you have to move the tiles around it to create a closed road. When I first started playing, I kept letting the ball drop because I panicked. My best advice is to stay calm. Take a deep breath. Focus on fixing the pieces closest to the ball first, then work your way toward the flag.
The controls are completely beginner-friendly.
Here is the trickiest part of the entire game. You get exactly five seconds of safe planning time. After those quick 5 seconds, the ball starts rolling automatically!
You must keep sliding tiles even while the ball is moving. If the path is broken, the ball falls into the void. Then, the game stops and you have to restart the level. You have to keep your eyes moving constantly.
As you slide the tiles, you will notice gold coins floating on some of them. Their placement is totally random. You collect them by forcing the ball to roll over those specific blocks. You can use these coins to buy awesome new ball skins in the shopping cart. Sometimes I sacrifice a coin to make sure I finish the level safely, but grabbing them makes the game much more rewarding.
Early on, the game goes easy on you. You only deal with standard white blocks. They just change the direction of the ball.
But as I pushed into the higher levels, the game threw curveballs at me. You have to adapt quickly. Watch out for the blue pieces! If your ball hits a blue piece, it will jump from one block to another. You will also run into white blocks with gray holes. These act like flexible tunnels for the ball. You must memorize what each color does if you want to achieve a high score.
Yes. The ball begins rolling on its own exactly 5 seconds after the level starts, so you must build the path quickly.
No. You cannot touch or move the ball itself. You can only slide the puzzle blocks around to build a safe road for it.
Yes. While early levels use simple white blocks, later stages introduce blue blocks that make the ball jump and gray hole blocks for special movement.
