Test your reflexes and hand coordination in Orbit Dash, skillfully moving the character between circular orbits. Master the rules to progress fastest.

Orbit Dash movement rules

Mouse controls

You just need to click or release the left mouse button so that the white dot-shaped character is attached to a colorful rotating point called the orbit, but this point must be as close as possible. Then the character will rotate around that point. And to move forward, you need to click the mouse again to make the object leave the orbit and move straight in the direction of flight from the previous departure point.

Two alternating actions

The simple rule includes only two actions: Attaching the character to the orbit and leaving the orbit at the right time to move straight to the path ahead. Therefore, the most important issue is to calculate the exact timing. If the character leaves the orbit in the wrong direction, they will fall off the path or collide with other dots, the game will end.

Touchpoints to note

  • Orbital circle: This is the point where you can attach objects to move in a different direction and spin. They are usually blue, purple, or yellow.
  • Red wall line: On both sides of the path, there will be two parallel red lines corresponding to the border between the game screen. If the character you control collides with this border, the game will stop because you have violated the forbidden area. Therefore, the gray areas are the safe areas for the character to move within the allowed limits.
  • Flight direction: When the character leaves the orbit, they will not fly in the center direction but fly tangentially to the circle. You can imagine it like a cotton candy being kicked out while spinning.

Impressive breakthrough of Orbit Dash

Unlike Geometry Dash Lite games of the same genre, it also enhances the reflexes of the player when the breakneck speed is high. There is no longer a simple mechanism of touching to jump, this game has a mechanism of attaching to rotate and finally escaping at the right time. It's harder when you're controlling gravity in space. You always have to imagine how many turns you have to fly to escape the orbit? Serious thinking and concentration also help you get out of the knots.
