How to Play Dunk Clash
If you were ever captivated by the breathtaking action sequences in Basketball Stars, then Dunk Clash is the perfect upgrade you can't miss. Beyond just shooting, Dunk Clash offers a true streetball experience with a deep skill system and character customization options.
After hours of grinding and slamming away, I'll share my journey from a newbie to a legend on the street court in this article.

Decoding Character Stats
In Dunk Clash, your character's strength depends entirely on how you allocate your Cash to upgrade these four stats:
- Shooting: Increases the chance of scoring, especially with long and medium-range shots. The higher this stat, the wider the "Green Zone" on the power bar.
- Contesting: This is a great stat. It makes it difficult for opponents to shoot. A high Contesting stat makes it easy for opponents to miss shots even if you don't have time to block.
- Speed: It's not just about running fast; it also helps you maneuver, execute smoother crossovers, and return to defense in time.
- Defense: This determines the strength of your block and your ability to steal the ball. If you want to be a "monster" under the basket, prioritize this stat.
Cash Tip: Don't spread your upgrades too thinly. If you prefer an offensive playstyle, put your Cash into Shooting and Speed. If you want to be a steel shield, prioritize Defense and Contesting.
Tips for Absolute Victory in 2-Player Mode
Playing against a real player is a psychological game. Remember these two golden rules:
Blocking tips in Dunk Clash 2-Player Mode
- Master Timing: After 50 basketball games in Dunk Clash, I realized that you shouldn't jump up to block as soon as your opponent gets the ball. Jump up to block just as your opponent passes the ball over your head for the highest block success rate.
- Use Smart Crossovers: Use the movement keys to trick your opponent's direction, causing them to lose their balance, then execute a dunk or shoot.
