Math Cross

1 votes 5/5

Math Cross is a puzzle game. You use numbers and operations to complete all equations, both horizontally and vertically, creating a network of logic puzzles.

Guide to play Math Cross

Your task is to fill in the missing numbers in the blank cells. This blank cell can be a number, an operation, or the result of an operation. The game displays a grid of squares containing numbers, operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fill in the result of the operation after the equal sign. What's unique is that the operations are interleaved. The result of a horizontal equation can be the first operand of a vertical equation. Therefore, all equations in the grid must be true simultaneously.

Tips and tricks for Math Cross gamers

Always start with the equation that already has the most numbers or the equation that only requires one blank space. This will provide the starting numbers to solve the related equations.

If you get stuck, you can use hints. Once you have used up all the free hints, you can use gems to buy more hints. Only use them when you are completely stuck, as they often reveal a key number that can unlock the entire puzzle.

Game Modes

  • Easy: Ideal for beginners. Small puzzle grids, mostly simple addition and subtraction, with few blanks to solve.
  • Normal: Increasing difficulty. Puzzle grids get larger, with multiplication and division starting to appear, requiring more steps to figure out the relationship.
  • Hard: Equations are more complex, with more blanks and higher interleaving between calculations, requiring careful strategic planning.
  • Expert: Maximum challenge level. Largest and densest puzzle grid, using all the calculations and requiring logical thinking and extremely fast mental calculation.
