Have you ever wanted to drive above the clouds? Sky Riders is a thrilling 3D driving game. You take control of cars and motorcycles on crazy tracks high up in the sky. Your main goal is simple. Just reach the finish line safely. But it is not as easy as it sounds. You have to stay on the track and dodge tricky obstacles along the way. If you fall off, you lose and have to restart. It is a true test of your driving skills and focus.
Getting started is very easy. You just need your keyboard to drive. Use the W, A, S, D keys or the Arrow keys to steer your vehicle. The Up arrow makes you go fast. The Left and Right arrows help you balance in the air. The Spacebar is for your brakes.
You can choose between a speedy car or a nimble motorcycle (complete with a crash test dummy rider!). Each vehicle handles a bit differently. You have to adjust your speed constantly. Sometimes, going too fast makes you fly off the edge. Take it slow on the sharp turns and speed up only on the straight paths.
I have played a lot of driving games, but Sky Riders really surprised me. The physics feel very bouncy and fun. I spent a good amount of time just trying to beat the yellow tunnel levels!
The biggest trick I learned is to watch your momentum. When you enter the large, circular yellow nets, you have to stick to the sides to avoid falling through the gaps. I honestly prefer using the motorcycle. It feels lighter and much easier to flip and correct your balance when you hit a big jump. Do not just hold the gas pedal down the whole time. Tapping the brakes right before a big drop will save your life.
If you love the crazy flips and wild tracks in this game, you will definitely want more. I highly recommend checking out Joyrider for a very similar, action-packed vibe.
